Suzuki’s GSX-R stands for Grand Sport Experimental Racing, CB for City Bike and CBR for City Bike Racer. The designation was added to the GS for Suzuki road-legal racing bikes to create the GSXR1000. The following contemporary sports motorcycles show Honda that they are sporty, race-oriented models that do not stand for racing replicas, but are suitable for racing.

It is important to remember that many bicycles in different markets have different names, and often model names do not stand for anything, but are used to distinguish a model because it identifies a family of bicycles or indicates a particular characteristic. In the sports bike market, the CBR600RR implies that the model you buy is identical to or close to the road bike model. This designation helps us identify a number of family models, such as Yamaha’s MT-Class, where we know that the number indicates the approximate engine size and the letter “RR” indicates its hypernaked form.
Yamaha R1, R6 and R3 models come in 1,000cc, 600cc and 300cc respectively while Suzuki and Honda use the GSX-R600 and CBR600RR’s rough capacity for 600cc engines.
Suzuki has catalogued the first as a supersports bike and the second as a road bike. The 2019 Suzuki GSX range includes four 125, 600, 750 and 1000 cc models. In the drive department, the Suzuki GsX R1000 gets a hp gasoline engine and the Suzuki GSx R1000R the same engine.
The Suzuki GSX-R1000R carries a price tag of Rs 22 lakh with the basic retail version priced at Rs 19 lakh from Delhi showroom. Suzuki has also introduced the SP model with closed gearbox and adjustable chassis. The company has launched the Upspec model of the GSX R1000R, which is equipped with Motion Track braking system, bidirectional Quick Shifter and Launch Control.
During this time, Suzuki also offered a 599 cc version of the same motorcycle, the GSX-R600, which had 106 hp less power. It was different in 2004, when Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha launched brand new 2.0-liter motorcycles, the GSX and R1000, which slipped down the pecking order.
In this competitive environment, Suzuki dropped the first 750cc GSX-R model that was ready to compete in the new size prescribed by auctmarts. The problem was that the brand new engine did not look much different from the previous model, and its rivals were on the rise.
In 1992, the 750cc machine was renamed the GSX-R 750wn-W, which meant the first water-cooled engine. All other early GSx-Rs (and Japan models) were water-cooled, either by air or oil cooling.
It wasn’t the first GSX-R, but it was this bike that drew the world’s attention to the line. Later models used the Suzuki air-steered RAM system, with the 1996 and 1999 GSX-Rs becoming known as the auctmarts. The first GSx-R in 1984 was a ground-breaking model that came closest to building a road bike that was also lightweight.
The GSX-R250 was discontinued a few years ago, but we have heard that Suzuki will bring it back to the European market next year with a parallel twin-cylinder engine in the GSX R300 series. It has been called the concept model of Suzuki’s stand-alone motorcycle since 2017, but as we all know, that is not true, and the joy of many riders when they see Suzuki developing it cannot be hidden. The Suzuki GSXR is a range of sports bikes from the Japanese manufacturer Suzuki.
The 750 cubic centimetre cubic capacity is intended for buyers who want to compromise the 600 “s mobility and feel they don’t need the latest electronics and gadgetry, which is why Suzuki hasn’t updated it since 2011.
